About the brand
Indiaims was born from a genuine love for creation, confidence, and self-expression. The brand’s roots trace back to college, where our founder first discovered the power of wigs while performing as a flag girl at Hampton University. Wigs were a staple for performances, but repeatedly purchasing premade units online quickly revealed two common frustrations: high prices and inconsistent quality. Wanting better for herself, she began creating her own.
What started as a practical solution soon became a passion. During the COVID-19 pandemic, with time to slow down and focus, the craft was refined—techniques were perfected, quality standards were raised, and the joy of creating became undeniable. Since then, wig-making has evolved from a skill into a purpose-driven brand.
Indiaims believes that hair is more than an accessory—it’s a tool for confidence, identity, and self-assurance. Wigs played a meaningful role in shaping who our founder is today, and that experience fuels the brand’s mission to create hair that feels intentional, empowering, and accessible.
Our commitment is simple: high-quality hair that doesn’t break the bank, made with care and love behind every unit. To stand behind that promise, Indiaims offers a complimentary wig-fix program, providing free adjustments or repairs for up to three months after delivery, ensuring every client feels supported well beyond purchase.
